Sinead McCann’s ‘The Trial’ Tour
In 2017 I provided video production and post-production services as part of an Irish Art’s Council funded project in collaboration with Dublin based artist Sinead McCann. The project, ‘The Trial’, is a looped and synced four screen video and audio installation focussing on health care reform for men within the Irish prison system and is based on research by academics at University College Dublin.
Originally installed for three weeks at the historic Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin city centre, the project’s funding was later extended to tour across three additional site specific locations nationally, including Spike Island Prison in Cork, Lifford Courthouse in Co. Donegal and finally at Dublin Castle.
The above video was created to document the installation across these later venues.
